"There is yet another murder case comitted at the back alley of the abondened st. morin's building. The murderer is suspected to be the same person from the previous murder cases. As polis are-"
Amaya turned the television off. Murder case again huh? she thought.
She went over to the door and ducked into her pocket and grabbed her keys out.
"Kazu!!! You're coming or not??!!!" she yelled.
Crumbling footsteps of the 15 year old boy filled the almost empty house. He tripped and came crashing down the steps.
"Argh!!!" he shouted. He picked himself up then turned to face his childhood friend who was looking at him with an unusual frown on her face. She didn't care to show simpathy by walking over to him or to even ask "Are you okay".
Amaya opened the door and threw the keys towards Kazuki. He caught it. He looked at her, confused.
"Hey!! It's your first day at school, you wouldn't be able to go in unless someone helps you register and get your student card!!!" Kazuki called after her.
She turned her head and gave him a glance.
"What??" Kazuki asked.
"What are you waiting for? Lock the door and come!" Amaya said. She smiled for the first time on that day.
Kazuki gave a sigh of relief. "What took you so long to smile?" he asked while locking the door.
"Oh nothing. Just playing around. You know it's fun seeing you get all so worried about me. Hahaha" Amaya joked.
"No it's not!!! Anyway," Kazuki lifted his arm out. Amaya tucked her hand through his. "Let's go!" She grinned.
